Land of Plenty

I feel good today. As good as one can feel with the weight of the world upon his shoulders. It's a heavy burden but one that brings you down in order for you to be able to see what really happens beneath your feet. Sometimes one needs to shove ones face into the very shit that one produces to really comprehend what one is made of. It's not a pleasant task, getting to know one self, in fact it's a terribly messy and unsettling experience. Poking around inside the pits of your soul turns over some dormant stones.

What it is right now

I'm not sure where this will eventually lead us but I feel compelled to write in my current state. It's 1:17 AM in Hollywood and raining. I'm lying on an inflatable air mattress in my friends house. It was a full day, complete with a decent brunch, new and exciting encounters, soaring dreams and cool, polished surfaces of unbending, unyielding truth. Forgive me, but I just entertained a thought that amused me, perhaps it will entertain you as well. Picture a gigantic bowling ball, slowly rolling down a hardwood surface. It's momentum is so minute that it barely seems to be moving. But yet it is in constant motion, eternally inching forward on it's projected path. Now picture a million ants going about their insect existence. Generations of ants live, feed, kill, gather, drink, and die every minute. This ant colony can evolve, go extinct, expand, find a cure for AIDS but eventually and inevitably all will be leveled by the titanic mass of the bowling ball.

Hollywood Road

Well, I'm in Hollywood. My friend David lives in the hills and he's been showing me around town. It's all quite surreal, I've seen it in countless movies, TV shows and magazines but being here in the flesh is quite an experience. The women here are amazing, everywhere you look there's a beautiful girl and she's looking right back at you! I thought that women in LA would be more stuck up and distant, afraid to make eye contact and accept a smile from a stranger, at least that's how it feels these days in New York. Boy was i wrong, maybe it's the company I'm in, David Moscow seems to be quite popular out here, people stop him for autographs and pictures every five minutes. It's all looking good from where I'm standing, hopefully the people I meet will like my ideas and we can take it to the next level. More after the jump.

Hanging Around All Day

Through a series of coincidental events and chance encounters, I have been given a chance to travel across the continent to Tinsel Town and speak with people that have lots and lots of money. My mission is to pitch a series of ideas which will then be evaluated and discussed by the above mentioned Fat-Cats. These individuals are looking for the next big thing to turn into a motion picture and have expressed interest in yours truly to be their muse.
No pressure here, instead of working day and night to produce the greatest ideas my mind can muster up, I have been paralyzed with the treacherous writers block. Don't get me wrong, I have been doing my part in realizing certain aspects of this project but given the importance and the "once in a lifetime" aura of this opportunity, I can not help but feel that I should be doing much more...

In the Beginning

so, after reading my friend's blog, I was inspired to put finger to keyboard and begin a written account of my life. Unfortunately, I am notorious for starting projects and never finishing them, so let's hope that this continues past this introductory post.
